R.A.M.P. stands for Recreation, Arts, Museums, and Parks.

Say YES to R.A.M.P. This November!

A Penny for Every Ten Dollars. A Lifetime of Impact.

This November, Layton voters have the opportunity to invest in what makes our community vibrant, connected, and thriving. By voting YES on R.A.M.P., you’re supporting a small sales tax—just one-tenth of one percent, or one penny for every $10 spent—that stays 100% in Layton to fund things that matter to us all.

What Does R.A.M.P. Fund?

  • Free and low cost, high-quality events by arts organizations—ensuring everyone has access to live music, family-friendly shows, and cultural programs.
  • Layton Parks & Recreation, including community spaces, youth programs, and family events.
  • Local museums and cultural sites, preserving and sharing our rich history.

What It Doesn’t Tax

Groceries and gas. R.A.M.P. applies only to general retail purchases—not essential items.

Why It Matters

  • It’s local. Every dollar stays in Layton.
  • It’s small. Just 1/10 of 1%—a penny for every ten dollars.
  • It’s fair. Visitors who shop in Layton help contribute, too.
  • It’s impactful. These funds make arts, culture, and recreation accessible to everyone.

A Simple Yes = A Stronger Layton

R.A.M.P. helps create the kind of community we’re proud to call home—one where families gather in parks, neighbors enjoy concerts under the stars, and kids grow up with arts and culture all around them.
